I strongly believe 127 provides a really more genuine music than many other persian figures/bands for example Mohsen Namjou.
Listen to the song "pay the price" It combines purest Jazz features with nice Persian folk melodies. It is Jazz! a true Jazz with a brilliant piano and saxophone. If it just had a slower tempo one could believe it is a late 1950 American Jazz!
I actually kinda like their music. The jazz themes are sometimes well mixed with other themes, such as roo-howzi. Indeed, what I like about them is being "hashalhaft" -- mixing themes that you've never heard them together. It sounds awkward at first, but the result is sweeet.
Oh about Namjoo, I think his text is much more phenomenal than his music
